Mildred Lorene Womack

Mrs. Mildred L. Womack of Vernon Hill, VA, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Sentara Woodview. She was born in Halifax County, VA on August 20, 1932 and was 85 years old. She was the daughter of the late Henry Watson Womack and Nannie Elizabeth Owen Womack and was married to the late Charlie Mack Womack. She was a faithful member of Asbury United Methodist Church. Survivors include: One son Ronnie Womack and wife Lois of Vernon Hill Grandchildren Rhonda Tate and husband Jon of kentuck Donnie Womack of Kentuck Great grandchildren Gage Rice of Winston-Salem, NC Dalton Womack of Kentuck Lauren Womack of Kentuck Sisters O’Neil McCormick and husband Wayne Christine Bane and husband Melvin Minnie Gordon Linda W. Hamlett Brothers Henry Womack, Jr. Raymond Womack Preceded in death by her husband, Mack Womack, Granddaughter Sharon Womack, Sisters, Annie Mae Tuck and Frances Bomar, Brother Howard Womack, Son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Betty Womack A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Womack Family Cemetery at Vernon Hill with Rev. Greg McCormick officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of Ronnie and Lois Womack., 1030 Fox Fire Drive, Vernon Hill.
