Johnnie Wilson Ingram

Pete Ingram of Vernon Hill, VA passed away June 19, 2018. He was born in Halifax, VA on November 10, 1935 and was 82 years of age. He was the son of the late William Wilson Ingram and the late Louise Hall Ingram. His wife of 35 years, Virginia Henry Ingram who survives. He was a member and Deacon of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He was a former Superintendent for the Town of South Boston and owner and operator of Gaitway Inc. In addition to his wife Pete is survived by: One Daughter Sharon Hughes and husband Alan of Union Hall, VA Five Grandchildren Brandy Mitchell, Lacey Cooke, Kasey Brown, Johnny Ray Brown and Kristie Ingram Ten Great Grandchildren One Sister Alice Carr of Nathalie Devoted friends Tajanda Woodall and Rita Garber His Beloved Pets Zorro, Hank and Buddy ***Preceded in death by*** One Son Michael Ingram One Grandchild Crystal Ingram Sister Lissie Mae Redd Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Wilkins and the Rev. Russell Terry officiating. Burial to follow in Church Cemetery.
