Dean Morgan Holt of Halifax, VA passed away June 18, 2018.  He was born in Halifax County, VA and was 69 years of age. He was the son of Mary Ellen Conner Holt and the late Herman Sterling Holt. He was married to Glenda Conner Holt who survives.   He attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Holt and Carl D. Holt   A graveside service service will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating.   The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at his home, 3011 North Terry’s Bridge Road, Halifax.   For memorials please consider the Halifax County Cancer Association, P.O.
