Charles John Schoendorf, Jr.

Mr. Charles John Schoendorf, Jr. of Vernon Hill, VA passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at his home.  He was born June 19, 1927 in New York City, NY and was 90 years old.  He was the son of the late Charles J. Schoendorf, Sr. and the late Anna Henry Schoendorf and was married to the late Margaret Savage Schoendorf. He was a retired school principal from the Vineland, NJ school system and a Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Charles John Schoendorf is survived by: Three DaughtersKaren Lemery and husband Michael of Morgantown, WVA Margaret Gager Riley and husband Richard of Concord, NC Nancy Gager and Tate Smith of Vernon Hill, VA  Three Grandchildren Kimberly Carson Miller, Connie Joy Bumgarner and Tate Charles Smith One Great Grandchild Taylor Nicole Smith ***Preceded by*** First Wife, Maria Raffo Schoendorf and son, Charles “Chuck” Schoendorf A memorial service will be held at a later date.
