Monroe King Smith

Mr. Monroe King Smith of South Boston passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. He was born in Halifax County on April 8, 1940 and was 78 years of age. He was the son of the late Billy Smith and the late Eva Forlines Smith. He was a member of Cherry Hill United Methodist Church and he enjoyed farming and hunting as long as his health allowed. Mr. Smith was employed and retired with the Virginia Department of Corrections, Camp 23 with 23 years of service. Mr. Monroe K.
