James Thomas Wilmouth

Mr. James Thomas Wilmouth of South Boston, VA and formerly of South Hill, VA passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Durham Veterans Hospital. He was born in Halifax County on January 5, 1944 and was 74 years old. He was the son of the late William Craddock Wilmouth Sr. and Edna Hodnett Ragsdale. He was a US Army Veteran have served during the Vietnam Conflict and was a retired Real Estate Agent. Survivors include: Three sisters Kitty W. Burgess and husband Wilton of Lynchburg Jean W. Wilborn and husband Bobby of South Boston Shirley W. Green of South Boston One brother William Craddock Wilmouth Jr. of Bedford Nine nieces and nephews Daryl and Leah Burgess, Todd and Michelle Burgess, Dean and D’Lynn Burgess, William and Mary Ann Wilmouth, Jimmy and Elizabeth Wilmouth, Maria and Brian Swyhart, Amy and Roger Rice, Donna Green Garrett, and Charles Green He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Lloyd Wilmouth A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
