Charles Arthur Ware, Jr.

Charles Arthur Ware Jr. of South Boston, VA passed away May 3, 2018. He was born in Halifax County on February 23, 1953 and was 65 years old. He was the son of the late Charles Arthur Ware Sr. and the late Jeanne Elizabeth Barbour Ware. He was a graduate of Halifax County High School and VPI. He was former President of South Boston Insurance Agency.   Charles had a passion for conservation and preservation of both History and Nature. A metal detecting enthusiast, he enjoyed searching for historical artifacts, sharing his discoveries with others and was a Life member of the Halifax County Historical Society. He served on the Board of Directors for the Southside Society for Animal Welfare, was a member of the Hyco Road Ruritan Club and was active with the Halifax County Chamber of Commerce.
