Lula Inez Mize

Lula Inez Mize of Lynchburg, VA passed away February 24, 2018.  She was born in Commerce, GA in 1917 and was 100 years of age. She was the daughter of the late John and Ella Pruitt. She married Oris Mize in 1936. They moved to Annapolis, MD in 1942 where they raised their family. Mr. and Mrs. Mize moved to Edgewater in 1969. Mrs. Mize loved her home and flower gardens and caring for her family.   Mrs. Mize is preceded in death by her husband, Oris Mize who passed away in 1980, one daughter, Patricia Teano, one sister Zadie Langston, and brothers, George Pruitt, Horace Pruitt, and Howard Pruitt.   Lula Inez Mize is survived by: One SonJohn Floyd Mize of Lynchburg, VA One SisterBarbara Osbourne of Rome, GA Eight grandchildren Nine Great Grandchildren  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Annapolis, MD.  For memorials please consider a charity of your choice.   Online condolences may be directed to www.powellfuneralinc.com.   Arrangements are by: Powell Funeral Home, 1603 Wilborn Ave., South Boston, VA 24592.
