Mary Lacks Brinn

After 92 full and blessed years serving God and her beloved family, Mary Lacks Brinn, of Alexandria, VA and formerly of Clover, VA has peacefully passed on to receive her reward in heaven.  She was born on December 20, 1925 in Clover, VA.  She was the daughter of the late Arthur J. Lacks and Ida Williams Lacks and was married to the late Lloyd G. Brinn. Survivors include: Her children Ronnie Brinn Norma Scott Grandchildren Ceciley Brinn, Joey Scott, Kristen Brinn, Jacob Brinn, Joshua Brinn, and Jenica Brinn. A funeral service will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Don Bryant conducting the service.  Burial will follow at Hunting Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Powell Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service starting at 12:00 PM.
