Mildred Edna Dunaway

Mildred Edna Medley Dunaway of Halifax, VA passed away September 24, 2017. She was born in Pittsylvania County, VA on June 17, 1924 and was 93 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Medley and the late Martha Fuller Medley. She was married to the late John Manning Dunaway.  She was a member of Halifax Baptist Church.   Mildred Edna Medley Dunaway is survived by: One DaughterBrenda Dunaway Short and husband Ronnie of Halifax, VA One SonTex J. Dunaway Three BrothersLinwood Medley, Tom Medley and McKinley Medley Three SistersLizzie Ellington, Lucinda Dunaway, and Annie Powell   Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at Halifax Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Collins officiating.
