Jewel Saunders

Jewel Dodson Saunders of Nathalie, VA passed away July 13, 2017. She was born in Halifax County on April 17, 1937and was 80 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Harry Dodson and the late Nolie Hall Dodson. She was married John Saunders who survives.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Millstone where she taught the Lamar Tribble Sunday School class for 52 years. She served her community by being employed at South Boston Manor and Berry Hill Nursing Home, and continued to visit the residents long after her retirement.  Jewel Dodson Saunders is survived by: Her HusbandJohn Saunders Two DaughtersKathy S.
