Gary Andrew Edmonds, Sr.

On Sunday, June 18, 2017 at 7:50 P.M., the Lord called to rest one of his humble servants, Gary Andrew Edmonds, Sr.  Gary was born on July 23, 1953 in South Boston, VA. to the late Sammy Edmonds, Sr. and the late Rita Elizabeth Bradshaw Edmonds. He attended St. Paschal Catholic Church.  Throughout his life he did extensive traveling and was an avid golfer.   Gary Andrew Edmonds, Sr. is survived by: His fiancé Trinity Carmichael of Durham, NC Two Daughters Trinity Edmonds of North Carolina Joy Edmonds of Florida Two Sons Gary A. Edmonds, Jr. and wife Christy of Maryland Tristin Edmonds of North CarolinaGrandchildrenMadison, Aidan and Logan Edmonds Two Sisters Sophronia Edmonds (Martin Baez-Flores) Esther Edmonds (Larry)Two Brothers Samuel Edmonds (Vivian) Larry Edmonds (Tatia) Special Niece/Goddaughter Sophie Song (Sheng)Nieces and NephewsPatrick Edmonds, Danielle Edmonds and Lauryn Edmonds Great Nephews Evan and Ian Song Many other devoted nieces and nephews, grandchildren and lifelong devoted friends.   Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Father Augustine officiating.
