Herman Radford Trent, Sr.

Herman Radford Trent, Sr. of South Boston, VA passed away June 6, 2017.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on May 18, 1936 and was 81years of age. He was the son of the late Herman Watkins Trent and the late Lila Mae Powell Trent. He was married to the late Betty McKinney Trent.   He was a member of South Boston Church of God and a retired Real Estate Agent and former Materials Manager at Halifax County Community Hospital.  He also served in the United States Army.   Herman Radford Trent, Sr. is survived by: One Son Howard Dale Trent and wife Sheila of South Boston, VA One Daughter Sherri T. Barbour and husband Darrin of Vernon Hill, VA One Sister Elizabeth Ann Cole of South Boston, VA Seven Grandchildren Jacob Radford Trent of Virginian Beach, VA Kari Grace Cook and husband Kenneth of Ringgold, VA Chris Barbour of Lynchburg, VA Chamelle Barbour of Montana Heather Fisher and husband Jonathan of South Boston, VA Howard Dale “Patches” Trent, Jr of South Boston, VA Matthew Kindle “Fluff” Trent of South Boston, VA Three Great Grandchildren Khloe, Anna and Levi Fisher of South Boston, VA   ***Preceded in death by*** One Son Herman Radford “Jackie” Trent, Jr. One Daughter-in-law Rita Tuck TrentTwo BrothersCurtis and Hal Trent   Memorial service will be held Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at South Boston Church of God with the Bishop T.
