Elizabeth Tune Jennings

Mrs. Elizabeth Tune Jennings of South Boston, VA passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Berry Hill Health and Rehab Center.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on July 28, 1937 and was 79 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Giles Adams Tune and Marie Glass Tune and was married to Charles Emmett Jennings who survives. She was a member of Halifax Baptist Church and was retired from Blue Ridge Livestock. Survivors include: Her husband Charles Emmett Jennings of South Boston One daughter Lisa J. Ligon of South Boston One brother Giles A. Tune Jr. of Midlothian One sister Jane T. Hodges of Nathalie Two grandchildren Laney Ligon and Erin Ligon both of South Boston A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Halifax Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 7-8:30 PM and other times at her home, 1159 White Oak Drive, South Boston, VA.
