Douglas Milton Worsham

Douglas Milton Worsham of Columbia, SC formerly of Halifax, VA passed away May 9, 2017.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on July 9, 1942 and was 74 years of age. He was the son of the late Milton Lafayette Worsham and Elsie Doss Worsham who survives. He was married to the late Nancy Lotz Worsham.   He was of the Baptist faith and served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and retired military status as a veteran and he was also an avid golfer.       Douglas Milton Worsham is survived by: His Mother Elsie Doss Worsham of South Boston, VA Two Daughters Leslie Worsham Glade and husband Paul of Sleepy Hollow, IL Tracie  Worsham Vasquez of St. Louis, MO One Son Ronald Douglas Worsham of Perry, GA Three Grandchildren Sara C. Glade of Berkeley, CA Travis M. Glade of Crystal Lake, IL Brandon L. Vasquez of St. Louis, MO Two Sisters Joyce W. Lehew and husband Glenn of Halifax, VA Karen W. Fisher of South Boston, VA One Brother James D. Worsham and wife Chandra of Aurora, CO   ***Preceded in death by*** One Brother Bobby Scott Worsham   Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Gibson officiating.
