Edith Tuck Palmer

Edith Tuck Palmer of Nathalie, VA passed away May 8, 2017.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on April 11, 1935 and was 82 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Louis Alexander “Alex” Tuck and the late Irvie Fisher Tuck. She was married to the late Breinard “BJ” Palmer.   She was a member of First Baptist Church of Millstone.  She retired from Burlington Industries as a Stockroom Clerk.   Edith Tuck Palmer is survived by: Four Daughters Becky S. Crews of Halifax, VA Lisha Klumpp and husband George of Fairhope, AL Virginia (Jenny) Duff and husband Kevin of Mobile, AL One Son BJ Palmer and wife Sharon of Lottie, AL Granddaughters Jenny Chappell and husband Johnny of Crystal Hill, VA Mandi Martin McGann and husband William of Lynchburg, VA Thirteen Grandchildren Twenty eight Great Grandchildren including Zack Chappell Lauryn Chappell Lexi McGannAudri McGann Special Friend Shirley Moorefield   ***Preceded in death by*** Brother, Louis Wayne Tuck Son Walter Michael Stevens Daughter Gloria Palmer Martin   Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Millstone with the Rev. Kristopher Cook and Dr. Keith Kimball officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at her home of 9164 L.P.
