Clayton Vernon Jarmon

Mr. Clayton Vernon Jarmon of South Boston, VA passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Seasons of the Woodview.  He was born in Duplin County, NC on November 26, 1932 and was 84 years old.  He was the son of the late Thomas Clayton Jarmon and the late Sara Quessie Bostic Jarmon and was married to Lila Jernigan Jarmon, who survives.   He was a member of the Halifax United Methodist Church, was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, and was the manager of the former Star Value Grocery Store .   Mr. Clayton Vernon Jarmon is survived by: His Wife Lila Jernigan Jarmon of South Boston One Daughter Janet Jarmon Anderson and husband Craig of Chesterfield, VA One Son Michael Vernon Jarmon and wife Karen of Fuquay Varina, NC One Brother Randall Jarmon of Prosperity, SC One Sister Wilma Batts of Beulaville, NC Four Grandchildren Kelly Isley, Wesley Jarmon, Joshua Anderson, Lauren Anderson Two Great Grandchildren Lachlan Isley and Elizabeth Isley   Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Williams and the Rev.
