Emma Gray Ambrose

Mrs. Emma G. Glasscock Ambrose of South Boston, VA passed away April 2, 2017.  She was born in Halifax County, VA and was 92 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Zachariah Thomas Glasscock and the late Carrie Lee Davis Glasscock. She was married to the late John Edward Ambrose.   She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.     Mrs. Emma G. Ambrose, Jr. and wife Vanessa of Aberdeen, MD James M. Ambrose and wife Christina of Powhatan, VA Joseph O. Ambrose and wife Amanda of Scottsburg, VA Seven Great Grandchildren Haley Christian Davis, Heidi Ann Davis, Morgan Davis, May Elizabeth Ambrose, Parker Ambrose, Jackson Ambrose and Rayland Ambrose One Brother Wallace Glasscock and wife Anna of Clarksville, VA   ***Preceded in death by*** One Son Roy Allen Davis Three Sisters Four Brothers   Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Smith officiating.
