Dorothy Moorefield Conner

Mrs. Dorothy Moorefield Conner of Clover, VA passed away March 5, 2017.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on June 2, 1931 and was 85years old. She was the daughter of the late Willie Moorefield and the late Allie Blanche Moorefield and was raised by the late Tommy Moorefield and the late Erma Moorefield. She was married to the late Henry Wilson Conner.   She was a member of Clover United Methodist Church.     Mrs. Dorothy Moorefield Conner is survived by: One Daughter Linda Conner Dunn and husband William “Mann” Dunn of Randolph, VA One Son Richard Conner of Mt. Laurel Two Brothers Ray Moorefield Jackie Moorefield Three Grandchildren Christy Powell, Michelle Gallimore, and Mandy Dunn Four Great Grandchildren Jacob Lewis, Ayden Gallimore, Leah Gallimore and Conner Gallimore   ***Preceded in death by*** Sisters and Brothers Willie Thomas Moorefield, Martha Moorefield, Eric  Moorefield, Jo Moorefield Davis, Lena Moorefield Davis, Arnie Moorefield, and Rebecca Green   Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Bob Davis officiating.
