WALL, Wyatt Wilson Jr. "Chip," 65, of Richmond, passed away in his home on Tuesday, February 28. He was born in South Boston, Va., on December 7, 1951 to Wyatt Wilson Wall and Nell Poole Wall. He attended Culver Military Academy, where he played basketball and golf. He received an undergraduate degree from The University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. He was predeceased by a son, Kinchen Bridgers Wall; and survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary (Polly) Wall; and their four children, Lassiter Wall Stone and husband, Billy, grandsons, Billy and Kinchen, Wyatt Wilson Wall III and wife, Mary Elsa, grandson, Wyatt Wilson Wall IV, Sanford Gregory Wall, Anna Dickinson Wall. Also survived by his sisters, Rebecca Wall, Macy Stikeleather and husband, Jimmy. Chip learned to sail at camp when he was young and has always loved being on the water. He enjoyed his time on the Chesapeake Bay spent with his family and friends. He was devoted to the game of golf and was an accomplished player. He had been a director of The Southern Golf Association and a chairman of The Southern Golf Junior Golf Championships. He officiated numerous state and regional golf tournaments. Chip was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Virgilina Cemetery, Virgilina, VA.
