Louis Earlie Clarke

Mr. Louis Earlie “Spot” Clarke of Nathalie, VA passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at his home.  He was born March 11, 1935 in Halifax County, VA and was 81 years old.  He was the son of the late Earlie Clarke and the late Essie Roark Clarke and was married to Peggy Coates Clarke who survives.   He was a member of the Liberty Christian Church and a Mason of French Lodge #270.   Mr. Louis Earlie “Spot” Clarke is survived by: His Wife Peggy C. Clarke of Nathalie, VA Four Sons Tim Clarke of Lynchburg, VA Todd Clarke and wife Tammy of Raleigh, NC Tom Clarke and wife Michelle of Lynchburg, VA Tony Clarke and wife Michelle of Lenoir, NC One Daughter Tracey C. Hudson and husband Dale of Madison Heights, VA Eight Grandchildren Joshua Clarke, Nicholas Clarke, Alan Clarke, Kyle Clarke, Tyler Clarke, Gage Hudson, Madison Clarke and Kaitie Clarke Twin Great Granddaughters Tennessee and Abigail Clarke ***Preceded in death by*** One Brother, Jimmy Clarke Three Sisters, Alease Fisher, Betsy Clarke and Norma Lee Maggard   Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Liberty Christian Church with the Pastor Edward Wayne Hudson officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with masonic rites.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Liberty Christian Church and other times at his home, 15072 L.P.
