Virginia McKinney

Mrs. Virginia Jennings McKinney of Halifax, VA passed away January 31, 2017.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on February 11, 1936 and was 80 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Hedley Ethel Jennings and the late Leila Coates Jennings. She was married to Franklin Delano McKinney who survives.   She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church.     Mrs. Virginia Jennings McKinney is survived by: Her Husband Franklin D. McKinney of the home Five Sons Donnie McKinney and wife Sharon of Halifax, VA Eddie McKinney and wife Rita of Halifax, VA Johnny Ray McKinney and wife Donna of Halifax, VA Eric McKinney and wife Sherry of Louisburg, NC Keith McKinney and wife Vanessa of Halifax, VA   Two Daughters Virginia Christine McKinney of South Boston, VA Rose Marie Stoner and husband Shaun of South Boston, VA Fourteen Grandchildren Fourteen Great Grandchildren A number of nieces and nephews   ***Preceded in death by*** Three Sisters Ethel Cook, Rosa Haley and Katie Crews Four Brothers Albert, Claudie, Charlie and Herbert Jennings   Funeral services will be held Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Childrey Baptist Church with the Rev. Butch Bolley officiating.
