Alton P. Whitlow

Mr. Alton P. Whitlow of Clover, VA passed away January 3, 2017.  He was born in Halifax County on May 28, 1935 and was 81 years of age. He was the son of the late Charles Samuel Whitlow and the late Irene W. Whitlow.  He was married to Nora Lee Throckmorton Whitlow who survives.   He was a member of Clover Baptist Church where he was an active Deacon.     Mr. Alton Whitlow is survived by: His Wife Nora Lee T. Whitlow of the home One Daughter Shirley Jean Whitlow and husband Kenny Irby of Halifax, VA One Son Michael Scott Whitlow and wife Virginia of Clover, VA Grandchildren Glen Michael Landrum April Whitlow Smith and husband David Nicole Dawn Fisher and husband Chris Great Grandchildren Dustin Michael Crews, Logan Smith, Journee Smith, Eli Fisher, Reece Fisher, and Marley Fisher   ***Preceded in death by*** One Son Glen Alton Whitlow One Brother Samuel O’Neal Whitlow   Funeral service will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Clover Baptist Church with the Rev. Aubrey Heath officiating.
