Nancy Long Perkins

Mrs. Nancy Long Perkins of Nathalie, VA passed away January 2, 2017.  She was born in Milton, NC on July 28, 1941 and was 75 years old. She was the daughter of the late James Brooks Long and the late Edna Williamson Long. She was married to Thomas Perkins, Jr. who survives.   She was a member of Union United Methodist Church.     Mrs. Nancy Long Perkins is survived by: Her Husband of 52 years Thomas Perkins, Jr. One Son Michael Perkins and wife Pam of Nathalie, VA Two Daughters Karen Fruend and husband Walter of South Boston, VA Shelia Carey of Nathalie, VA Grandchildren Brooks Gentry Alyssa Fruend Reagan, Nick and Shea Carey Three Sisters Mary Ann "Boots" Pruett of Paces, VA Virginia “Teeny” Collie of Alton, VA Laura Leach and husband Dick of Huddleston, VA Host of nieces and nephews Special Sister-in-law Lillie Mae “PeeWee” Keatts   ***Preceded in death by*** One Sister Frances Hicks One Brother James “Frankie” Long   Memorial service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
