Norman Wayne Dickerson, Sr.

Mr. Norman Wayne Dickerson, Sr. of Clover passed away November 20, 2016.  He was born in Halifax County, Virginia on January 5, 1936 and was 80 years old. He was the son of the late Andrew Dabney Dickerson, Sr. and the late Carrie Estes Dickerson. He was married to the late Polly Neal Dickerson.   He was a member and Deacon of Rodgers Chapel Baptist Church. He was also a United States Army Veteran and retired from ABB.   Mr. Dickerson is survived by: Two Daughters Norman Jean Thaxton and husband Tommy Paula Boccabello and husband Patrick One Son Norman W. Dickerson, Jr. and wife Debra Nine Grandchildren Ann Hudson, Ashley Green and husband Chip, Sarah Thaxton, John and James Boccabello, Heather Whitlow, Maggie, Andrew and Shelby Dickerson Two Step-Grandchildren Robert and Jeanine Valentine Six Great Grandchildren Dixie Overby, Addison Bowen, Jacob Comer, Julianna and Cari Green and Jazlynn Whitlow Honorary Grandsons Elijah Hudson and Robyn Martin   ***Preceded in death by*** Two Brothers Andrew Dabney Dickerson, Jr. Waverly Howard Dickerson   Funeral services will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Rodgers Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Aubrey Heath officiating.
