Sterling Wayne Holt

Mr. Sterling Wayne Holt of Clover, VA passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital.  He was born June 2, 1943 in Halifax County, VA and was 73 years old.  He was the son of late Herman Sterling Holt and Mary Ellen Conner Holt and was married to Pauline Holt who survives.   He was member of the Hunting Creek Baptist Church and the Mt. Laurel Ruritan Club.     Mr. Sterling Wayne Holt is survived by: His Wife Pauline Holt of Mt. Laurel His Mother Mary C. Holt of Scottsburg One Daughter Debbie Blocker and husband Tommy of Walterboro, SC Two Sons Andy and Barry Holt of Walterboro, SC One Step Daughter Sylvia Hazelwood and husband Tim of South Boston Two Stepsons Jeff and Barry Barnett of South Boston, VA Four Brothers Clyde Holt and wife Sharon of South Boston Allen Holt and wife Jennifer of Scottsburg Dean Holt and wife Glenda of Scottsburg Chris Holt of Scottsburg One Sister Sharon Powell and husband Arnold of Scottsburg Twenty Grandchildren Ten Great Grandchildren ***Preceded in death by*** One Brother, Toby “Peewee” Holt One Stepson, S.W. Barnett, Jr.   Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Clover Cemetery with the Rev.
