Bobby Scott Worsham

Mr. Bobby Scott Worsham of South Boston, VA passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Sentara Woodview. He was born in South Boston, VA on October 4, 1958 and was 58 years old.  He was the son on the late Milton Lafayette Worsham and Elsie Doss Worsham who survives.  He was a member of Ash Avenue Baptist Church and was a retired commercial fisherman based out of Fort Pierce, Florida. Survivors include: His mother Elsie Doss Worsham of South Boston Two sisters Joyce W. Lehew and husband Glenn of Halifax Karen W. Fisher of South Boston Two brothers Douglas M. Worsham of Columbia, SC James D. Worsham and wife Chandra of Aurora, CO A number of nieces and nephewsChildhood friends Joey and Sandy Cole Dwayne and Mary Jane Collie David and Judy Green Mother-in-law Mary Alice Dunn Brother-in-law Baker Dunn Sister-in-law Pill D. Gosney and husband Mark He was preceded in death by his Dad, Milton Worsham, and his wife, Mary Katherine “KK” Dunn Worsham, and  Father-in-law, Thomas Dunn. A memorial service will be held at Powell Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Brian Smutz conducting the service.  The family will receive friends at Powell Funeral Home on Saturday for one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of his mother, 204 Yates Street, South Boston.
