John Michael Hatcher

Mr. John Michael Hatcher of South Boston passed away October 3, 2016.  He was born in Halifax County on December 20, 1959 and was 56 years old. He was the son of Lois Wilmouth Hatcher and the late Charles Herbert Hatcher, Jr.   He was a member of Center United Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Sons of American Legion, Ducks Unlimited and an avid NASCAR fan.  Mr. Hatcher was also a former sales associate for Talbert Building Supply.   Mr. John Michael Hatcher is survived by: His Mother Lois W. Hatcher of South Boston, VA One Brother Chuck Hatcher, III of Roanoke, VA One Nephew Ryan C. Hatcher of Richmond, VA Special Friend Debra B. Hunt of Nathalie, VA Sister-in-law Linda K. Hatcher of Roanoke, VA   ***Preceded in death by*** His Father Charles Herbert Hatcher, Jr.   Funeral service will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Chaney officiating.
