Michael Lee Laughorn

Mr. Michael Lee Laughorn of Scottsburg passed away September 17, 2016.  He was born in Halifax County on July 9, 1994 and was 22 years old. He was the son of Mike and Karen Laughorn.   He was a member of Ash Avenue Baptist Church. He loved racing, animals, music, computers, was a history buff and fan of the Denver Broncos.     Mr. Michael Lee Laughorn is survived by: His Parents Mike and Karen Laughorn of Halifax, VA One Sister Holly L. Forbes and husband Ryan of Rocky Mount, VA One Brother Wade Laughorn of Halifax, VA Maternal Grandmother Phyllis Kell of South Boston, VA Paternal Grandparents Mack and Linda Laughorn of Scottsburg, VA One Uncle Craig Laughorn and wife Jennifer and their children, Sarah and Caroline Laughorn   ***Preceded in death by*** His Maternal Grandfather Ben Norris   Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Winns Creek Baptist Church with the Rev.Dr. Tony Brooks and Rev. Jim Kopco officiating.
