Carl David Holt

Mr. Carl David Holt of Nathalie passed away September 16, 2016 at his home. He was born in Halifax County on April 2, 1945 and was 71 years old. He was the son of Mary Conner Holt and the late Herman Sterling Holt. He was also married to Tammy Barbour Holt who survives.   He was a member of Hunting Creek Baptist Church, Peaks Trail Hunting Club and former volunteer of the Halifax-South Boston Rescue Squad. He was also retired from J.P. Laurel Clyde Holt and wife Sharon of South Boston, VA Dean Holt and wife Glenda of Halifax, VA Allen Holt and wife Jennifer of Scottsburg, VA Chris Holt of Scottsburg, VA One Sister Sharon Powell and husband Arnold of Halifax, VA A number of Nieces and Nephews and other family members   ***Preceded in death by*** His Father Herman Sterling Holt   Funeral service will be held Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Mulberry Baptist Church with the Rev. David Hanks officiating.
