Judith Horton Bateman

Mrs. Judith Horton Bateman of Scottsburg passed away August 17, 2016. She was born in Wise County, VA on April 19, 1947 and was 69 years old. She was the daughter of the late Radford Horton and the late Kathleen Turner Horton. She was married to Robert Lee Bateman, Jr. who survives.   Mrs. Judith Bateman is survived by: Her Husband Robert Bateman of the home Four Daughters Stephanie Hines and husband Terry of Auburndale, FL Lesley Wallace and husband Doyle of South Boston, VA Shannon Hatcher and husband John of Scottsburg, VA Tara Payne and husband Tino of Crystal Hill, VA Seven Grandchildren John Hatcher, Jr., Taylor Hines, Quest Payne, Journey Payne, Katie Wallace, Rachel Newby and Mary Jenkins Three Great Grandchildren Jesse Jenkins, Bristol Jenkins and Amy Jenkins One sister Andrea Jones of St. Augustine, FL One Brother Jack Horton and wife Ann of Norfolk, VA A number of Nieces and nephews   Memorial service will be held be held at a later date.   For memorials please consider a charity of your choice.
