Nancy Nichols Irby

Mrs. Nancy Nichols Irby of South Boston passed away August 14, 2016.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on January 7, 1938 and was 78 years old. She was the daughter of the late Abraham Vincent Nichols and the late Annie Florine Crenshaw Nichols. She was also married to Kenneth Eugene Irby who survives.   She was a member of Ash Avenue Baptist Church where she was the former treasurer.     Mrs. Nancy Nichols Irby is survived by: Her Husband Kenneth Eugene Irby of the home Two Sons Kenneth D. Irby and wife Shirley of Halifax, VA Daryl Scott Irby and wife Mary Tucker of South Boston, VA Two Sisters Elsie Ferrell of South Boston, VA Rose Jeter of Richmond, VA Three Grandchildren Nicole Fisher and husband Chris of Halifax, VA Edward Irby of South Boston, VA Watkins Irby of South Boston, VA Three Great Grandchildren Eli Aaron Irby Fisher Kerrigan Reece Fisher Marley Jean Fisher   ***Preceded in death by*** Her Parents Abraham and Annie Crenshaw Nichols Three Brothers Thornton, Graham and Roy Nichols One Sister Ann Crews   Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Bryant officiating.
