William Stephen Royster

Mr. William Stephen Royster, Jr. of Cluster Springs, VA passed away August 6, 2016. He was born in Newport News, VA on August 28, 1941 and was 74 years old. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Royster. He was married to Barbara Seamster Royster for 53 years.   He was a 1962 graduate of the University of Richmond with a degree in Political Science and completed numerous courses in communicable diseases, epidemiology and other health-related areas. He retired after 35 years with the United States Public Health Service, having spent most of his career managing health programs for the states of Vermont, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Nebraska.
