Wayne Taswell Seamster

Mr. Wayne Taswell Seamster of Clover passed away July 17, 2016. He was born in Halifax County on June 24, 1948 and was 68 years old. He was the son of the late Taswell Junior Seamster and the late Mary Hackney Seamster. He was also married to Peggy Throckmorton Seamster who survives.   He was a member of Scottsburg Baptist Church. He served as treasurer at Scottsburg Volunteer Fire Department. He also served as Chief Election Official for Central Absentee Precinct in Halifax County.   Mr. Wayne Taswell Seamster is survived by: His Wife Peggy Throckmorton Seamster of Clover, VA Two Sons Russell Wayne Seamster and wife Julie of Frederick, MD Dennis Dwayne Seamster and wife Ann of Halifax, VA Six Grandchildren Olivia, Eli, Ella, Dane, Brynn Seamster and Airianna Ennis One BrotherR. Page Seamster and wife Fran of Scottsburg, VA and their children Brian, Ann Paige, and Matthew     Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Stewart officiating.
