Doris Elizabeth Gravitt

Mrs. Doris Elizabeth Crenshaw Gravitt of Halifax passed away June 22, 2016.  She was born in Halifax County, VA on June 7, 1923 and was 93 years old. She was the daughter of the late Bertrum Roy Crenshaw and the late Lizzie Hall Crenshaw. She was also married to the late Trent Gravitt.   She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and was retired from J.P. Hartley of Apex, NC Four Grandchildren Paul Gravitt of Cambridge, MD Jessica Kreitzer of Manassas, VA Max Gravitt of Randolph, NJ Lucas Gravitt of Seattle, WA Nine Great Grandchildren   ***Preceded in death by*** Her Parents Roy and Lizzie Crenshaw Brothers Bertrum R. Crenshaw, William E. (Elmo) Crenshaw, Wilford H. Crenshaw, James M. (Maxey) Crenshaw and Wayland L. Crenshaw   Graveside service will be held Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev.
