Fred Lee Jones

Mr. Fred Lee “Freddie” Jones of Vernon Hill, VA passed away Saturday June 4, 2016 at his home. He was born January 20, 1948 in Watkins Glenn, NY and was 68 years old. He was the son of the late Harry Jones and Hilda Lewis Jones and was married to Jane Porter Jones, who survives.   He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver for Sunshine Mills.   Mr. Fred Lee “Freddie” Jones is survived by: His Wife Jane P. Jones of Vernon Hill One Son Travis Jones and wife Lisa of Halifax Two Stepsons Tony Green and wife Charlene of South Boston Jake Green of Arlington, VA Three Grandchildren Matthew Jones, Erika Whitlow and Grace Whitlow One Brother Robert L. Jones and wife Sherryl of Halifax Preceded in death by: One daughter, Brittany Jones   Memorial services will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Wilkins officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Mt.
