Howard Ellen Dix

Mr. Howard Ellen Dix of Halifax passed away May 26, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 25, 1922 and was 94 years old. He was the son of the late Marvin Dix and the late Bertha Clark Dix.   He was a member of Berry Hill Presbyterian Church and a WWII navy veteran. He also owned and operated the Halifax Exchange Store   Mr. Howard Ellen Dix is survived by: Two Daughters Brenda D. Fox and husband Raymond of Mt. Jackson, VA Shirley D. Crews and husband Henry of Lynchburg, VA One Brother Charles Dix of Florida Three Grandchildren Five Great Grandchildren ***Preceded in death by*** His Parents Marvin and Bertha Clark Dix His First Wife Hazel Matthews Dix His Second Wife Geraldine Schmidt Dix One Son William Howard Dix One Sister Helen Mason   Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Wilborn officiating.
