Douglas Wayne Vaughan, Sr.

Mr. Douglas Wayne Vaughan, Sr. of Halifax, VA passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. He was born May 13, 1957 in Halifax County, VA and was 59 years old. He was the son of the late Charlie Hoover Vaughan and Virginia Moore Vaughan, who survives.   He was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church and worked for Comfort Systems U.S.A as a HVAC Foreman. He also served in the Army National Guard of 13 years.   Mr. Douglas Wayne Vaughan, Sr. is survived by: Two Daughters Crystal V. Hudson and husband Terry of Nathalie Kathryn D. Vaughan of Scottsburg One Son Douglas Wayne Vaughan, Jr. of Halifax Two Grandsons Gage and Chase Hudson of Nathalie His Mother Virginia Moore Vaughan of Halifax Two Brothers Sammy Ray Vaughan and wife Betty Ann of Halifax Charles Larry Vaughan and wife Patricia of Halifax   Three Sisters Tammie Loftis and husband Donnie of Halifax Nancy Matthews and husband Harry of Bullock, NC Elizabeth Anderson and husband Ricky of Nathalie A number of nieces and nephews Family pet, Fred   Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Collins officiating.
