Ryland Wilson Shortt

Mr. Ryland Wilson Shortt, Sr. of Nathalie passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016. He was born in Halifax County on December 12, 1940 and was 75 years old. He was the son of the late Gilbert Wilson Shortt and the late Cecile Waller Shortt. He was also married to Marian Daniel Shortt who survives.   He was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church.   Mr. Ryland Wilson Shortt, Sr. is survived by: His Wife Marian D. Shortt One Daughter Regina S. White and her husband Will of Charlotte County, VA Two Grandsons Conner Daniel White and Carter Thomas White of Charlotte County, VA Two Sisters Linda S. Clark (Charlie) of South Boston, VA Elizabeth S. “Betty” Shortt of Nathalie, VA Four Brothers Eugene G. Shortt of Nathalie, VA Phillip M. Shortt (Linda) of Chesapeake, VA Wayne Shortt (Mary Jo) of Altavista, VA Garnett W.
