Faye Butler Farmer of South Boston Virginia, 76, passed away on April 26, 2016. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Scott Farmer of Hollywood, FL, and nephews Patrick Ray Butler of Randleman, North Carolina, Christopher Butler, and wife Karen of Pleasant Gardens, North Carolina, great nephews Blake and Austin Butler, and great niece Lauren Elizabeth Ann Butler. Faye attended the Lynchburg General Hospital School of Nursing and then assisted Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr. Jimmy Priest for 21 years. She enjoyed being a member of the Main Street Methodist Church, and taught in the Adult Bible studies as well as the Children’s Sunday school. Faye was Miss South Boston in 1958 and one of the finalists in the National Tobacco Festival held in Richmond, Virginia. She was very social and enjoyed visiting senior citizens in nursing homes around town. Condolences may be sent to Elizabeth Farmer, 3800 N. Hills Drive, #315, Hollywood, FL 33021.
