Mr. Clyde Wayne Barley, Sr. of South Boston, VA passed away April 25, 2016. He was born in Pittsylvania County on March 9, 1942 and was 74 years old. He was the son of the late Richard Barley and the late Hattie Covington Barley. He was married to the late Bernice Landrum Barley.   He attended Pleasant Grove Christian Church.   Mr. Clyde Wayne Barley, Sr. is survived by: One Son Clyde Wayne Barley, Jr. of Roxboro, NC Three Daughters Dale Simpson and husband Jeff of Blairs, VA Gayle Burnette and husband Dempsey of Danville, VA Renita Kronkowski and husband Billy of Chatham, VA One Step-daughter Dale Pittman of South Boston, VA One Sister Naomi Loftis of Roanoke, VA Eight Grandchildren ***Preceded in death by*** His Parents Richard and Hattie Covington BarleyHis WifeBernice Landrum Barley One Step-son Michael Toombs   Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church with the Rev. Ed Woody officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.   The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the church one hour prior to the service.   For memorials please consider Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
