John Leslie Puckett

Mr. John Leslie “Les” Puckett of Red Oak, VA passed away April 18, 2016.  He was born in Halifax County, VA on Jan 30, 1959 and was 57 years old. He was the son of Hattie Leah Burton Puckett and the late John Will Puckett.  He was also married to Christy Collie Puckett who survives.   He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and attended Public Fork Christian Church.     Mr. John Leslie “Les” Puckett is survived by: His Wife Christy Collie Puckett of Red Oak, VA Three Daughters Leah Annette  Puckett of Scottsburg, VA Kendall Rae Whirley of Red Oak, VA Kayla Dawn Whirley of Red Oak, VA One Son Roy Nicholas “Nick” Puckett and Ashley Chandler of Scottsburg, VA  His Mother Hattie Leah Burton Puckett of Scottsburg, VA One Brother Robert “Bob” Puckett and wife Deborah of Rougemont, NC One Sister Vickie Hite of Danville, VA Three Grandchildren Madison Watkins of Scottsburg, VA Chandler Watkins of Scottsburg, VA Gunnar Puckett of Scottsburg, VA   ***Preceded in death by*** His Father John Will Puckett   Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 23 at 2:00 P.M.at Public Fork Christian Church with the Pastor Denis Fritz and Rev.
