LeRoy Milton Legg, Jr.

Mr. LeRoy Milton Legg, Jr. of Monroe, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 11, 2016. He was born in Columbus, OH on March 14, 1955 and was 61 years old. He was the son of the late LeRoy Milton Legg, Sr. and Crystal Sallie Holbien.   He retired after 25 years from Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was a member of ten years for the Virginia Defense Force, and was soldier of the year for 2005. He was a United States Army Veteran, avid fisherman, hunter and an accomplished drummer, who dearly loved music.   Mr. LeRoy Milton Legg, Jr.is survived by: His Mother Crystal Sallie Hobbein and partner Betty Conner of Halifax, VA One Son Nicklaus Michael “Legg” Brodbeck of Halifax, VA One Brother Henry R. Martin of Brandywine, MD One Step-brother Joel Gurney Conner of Dallas, TX Nieces and Nephews Hailey Holbein of Halifax, VA; Develyn Michael of Chicago, IL; Erika, Cari and Trey Nelson of Lynchburg, VA; Brittany and Jonathan Reynolds of Lynchburg, VA; Crissy Tomlinson of Columbus, OH; and Joe Riffle of Greenly, CO Special Friends Mrs. Judy Hill and her late husband, Dr. David Hill, Al Takach, Buddy Ramsey, Tim and Wynn Frederico of Madison Heights of VA, many friends too numerous to list.
