Theresa Smith

Mrs. Theresa Hudson Smith of South Boston passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016. She was born in Halifax, VA on April 23, 1931 and was 84 years old.   She was the daughter of the late Charlie Jasper Hudson and the late Jewel Cole Hudson. She was also married to Monroe King Smith who survives.     She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary with the V.F.W.   Mrs. Theresa Hudson Smith is survived by: Her Husband Monroe K. Buser and husband Bill of Alaska One Son Cecil Louis Alders of Memphis, TN Thirteen Grandchildren Twenty Two Great Grandchildren Five Great- Great Grandchildren One Sister Marie Couch of South Boston, VA One Brother Giles Hudson of Goose Creek, SC   ***Preceded in death by*** Her Parents Charlie J. and Jewel Cole Hudson One Son Jerry Blanks Four Sisters Two Brothers One Grandchild   Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Pat Neilson officiating.
