Richard Dent McLaughlin

Mr. Richard Dent McLaughlin of Scottsburg, VA passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born in Washington, D.C. on May 6, 1966 and was 49 years old. He was the son of the late William Dent McLaughlin and Mary Estelle Jones McLaughlin and was married to Becky T. McLaughlin, who survives.   He was a member of the Winns Creek Baptist Church and worked as assistant manager at O’Reily Auto Parts.   Mr. Richard Dent McLaughlin is survived by: His Wife Becky T. McLaughlin of Scottsburg His Mother Mary Estelle Jones McLaughlin of Scottsburg One Brother David Scott McLaughlin and wife Linda of Vienna, VA One Sister Marie Elizabeth McLaughlin of South Boston Four Nephews   Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Winns Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Kopco officiating.
