Katherine "Kitty" Andrews Hawkins

Mrs. Katherine “Kitty” Andrews Hawkins of Halifax, VA passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 Duke Medical Center. She was born October 16, 1934 in Covington, VA and was 81 years old. She was the daughter of the late Kelly Eugene Andrews, Sr. and the late Marguerite Virginia Snyder Andrews and was married to the late Robert “Bob” Wayne Hawkins, Sr.   She was a member of the Halifax United Methodist Church and was a retired secretary from the Halifax County Public School System.   Mr. Katherine “Kitty” Andrews Hawkins is survived by: Two Sons Robert W. “Bobby” Hawkins, Jr and wife Angie of Bracey, VA Dale Gavin Hawkins of Halifax, VA Four Grandchildren Laura Hawkins of Charlottesville, VA Christopher Long of Chesterfield, VA Cameron Hawkins of Bracey, VA Courtlyn Hawkins of Bracey, VA One Brother Kelly Andrews, Jr. and wife Linda of Carolina Beach, NC Two Sister-in-Laws Wynona H. Crush of Covington, VA Judy Hawkins of Roseland, VA A number of nieces and nephews   Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Main Street United Methodist Church with Pastor Chuck Cassidy, Pastor Randy Williams and Pastor Thad Decker officiating.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Main Street United Methodist Church.   For memorials please consider the Halifax County Cancer Association, P.O.
