Rita Tuck Trent

Mrs. Rita Tuck Trent of South Boston, VA passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Sentara Woodview. She was born in Lynchburg on August 24, 1962 and was 53 years old. She was the daughter of James Tuck and Bernell Adkins Moon and was married to the late Herman Radford “Jackie” Trent Jr. She was the facility Manager at Sentara Woodview and alongside her husband Jackie was very active with South Boston Dixie Youth Baseball. Survivors include: One daughter Kari Trent Cook and husband Kenneth of South Boston Two sons Jacob Radford Trent of Virginia Beach Brandon Betterton of Gretna Her mother Bernell Adkins Moon of Gretna Her father James Tuck and step-mother Frances of Lynchburg One sister Teresa T. Cooper and friend Bruce Griffin of South Boston The family would like to thank all at Sentara Woodview for all theirs and concerns during Rita’s illness.
