Ann Terry

Mrs. Ann Whitt Terry of Halifax passed away January 28, 2016 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. She was born in Halifax County, VA on July 11, 1935 and was 80 years old.  She was the daughter of the late Jackson Bunting Whitt and the late Lillian Spencer Whitt. She was also married to the late Henry P. “Bossie” Terry, Jr. She was a member of Dan River Baptist Church since 1969. She received her Associates Degree from Ferrum College. She retired from Burlington Industries after thirty plus years as Payroll Clerk.   Mrs. Ann Whitt Terry is survived by: One Son Henry P. Terry III and wife Kathy of Roxboro, NC One Brother Lacy R. Whitt of South Boston, VA Two Sisters Lena W. Bish of Harrisonburg, VA Emogene Robertson of South Boston, VA Number of Nieces and Nephews   ***Preceded in death by*** Her Parents Jackson B. Whitt and Lillian Spencer Whitt Two Brothers Marcellus Jackson Whitt Owen Davis Whitt     Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Dan River Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Gibson officiating.
