Frank Lee Whitney

Mr. Frank Lee Whitney of Virgilina, VA passed away December 21, 2015. He was born in Massachusetts on January 5, 1923 and was 92 years old. He was the child of the late Frank Lee Whitney, Sr. and the late Carolyn DeWitt Whitney.   He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam Era and received two Purple Hearts.  Mr. Frank Lee Whitney is survived by: Two Sons Michael Whitney of Virgilina, VA Irving Whitney of Durham, NC One Daughter Carolyn Whitney of Charlottesville, VA One Brother Dot Whitney of Oklahoma City, OK Two Grandchildren Two Great Grandchildren   ***Preceded in death by*** His Parents Frank Lee Whitney, Sr. and Carolyn DeWitt Whitney
