Starr Lee Welch

Ms. Starr Lee Cook Welch of South Boston passed away December 10, 2015. She was born in Halifax County on January 19, 1944 and was 71 years old. She was the daughter of the late Walter Moore Cook, Emogene Whitt Robertson who survives and the step-daughter of the late Virgil Robertson.  Ms. Starr Lee Cook Welch is survived by: One Son Greg Lacks of Durham, NC One Step Sister Mary Ann Wood   Graveside service will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Halifax Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Susan Davis officiating.
